I was inspired to build this piece from another Instagram account I follow who did a full coffee table (Check out @gracieoakdesings for this DIY). I loved the look but I just didn't need the full size. Here is what you need for this super simple project:
What you need:
- 2x4s
-miter saw
-Drill
-2.5 inch screws
-wood glue
-wood filler
-stain
Step 1: Cut your 2x4s to length and add 45 degree angles
Step 2:
Wood glue then screw the 2x4s together one at a time. I did 12 pieces on each side (4 sides in total).
Step 3.
Wood glue then screw the 4 sides together
Step 4:
Stain & do 3 coats of seal with outdoor Varathane in order to protect from the outdoors
